Team Spotlight: Lorrielle Moore – Guiding the Way for Youth

This month, we’re shining the spotlight on Lorrielle Moore, our incredible Administrator for the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) at The Road Called Strate!

From her very first day, Lorrielle has brought passion, focus, and a vibrant energy to our team. As the program administrator, she plays a crucial role in supporting youth and young adults ages 18 to 24, helping them move from crisis to stability. Whether she’s jumping into back-to-back Zoom meetings, mastering new systems like HMIS, or stepping up to help at the front desk, Lorrielle wears many hats with grace and purpose.

“Every day is unique,” she says. “But knowing that I’m helping and contributing to the world and the community gives me purpose. It’s rewarding.”

Her background in property management uniquely equips her to bring even more to the table, especially when it comes to connecting youth to housing resources. But it’s not just her professional expertise that stands out—it’s her heart. Lorrielle approaches each situation with deep empathy, often drawing from her own lived experiences.

“Sometimes it’s challenging to see people in their struggle, especially when you’ve been there yourself. But there’s joy too—those happy moments when we’re able to help or see something positive happen in a client’s life.”

Lorrielle, your resilience, dedication, and emotional honesty are inspiring. You remind us why our mission matters. Thank you for being a pillar of strength for our youth and our team.

Keep shining—The Road Called Strate is better with you on it! ❤️👏
