Michelle Sykes

Meet Michelle Sykes,  our Assistant Executive Director.  She has over 25 years of experience in state programs, particularly within various educational program compliance settings. She has played a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations across multiple Colorado programs. Michelle has collaborated closely with Region VIII State Administrators offering guidance and technical assistance. Her expertise extends to quality assurance roles within Colorado Works (TANF program).

Michelle's dedication to community service is evident through her involvement with various boards and commissions. Notably, she was chosen to lead the Colorado Crime Prevention and Control Commission and currently serves as a board member on the Community Corrections Board.
